Preheat oven to 300°F and line a large cookie sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil.
In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the oats, whey protein powder, salt, Truvia sweetener, orange peel, and almonds. Stir well.
Add the egg whites, almond milk, and both extracts, and stir until well combined.
Pour the granola onto the foil lined cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes, stirring halfway through* (see note).
Once the granola (and the cookie sheet) have cooled to room temperature, stir in the white chocolate chips.
